Ideal Final vs Worst Case Scenario

It's just the nature of those sports. I tend to value regular season excellence, but I know that puts me in somewhat of a minority among sports fans. Drives me up a wall to see a team slum through a season then catch fire in the end to win it.

I'm with you on soccer, and baseball. Regular season results indicate the truest champion.
