And as soon as I post that Oregon scores a TD to make it 24-14 with around 5:30 left in the game.

I dunno, Ohio State and Michigan did pretty well today. Penn State also beat WVU by 20+ points.
As you said, you truly do not know. OSU took an entire half to do anything and Michigan went down to the wire with a team they were favored by 48 over.

Cool, so OSU still ended up beating a team they were supposed to smoke by 46 points despite only being up by 14 at halftime. Winning by 40+ still seems like the end result that a top 2 team is supposed to have against a MAC team.

I’ll give you Michigan should have won by more against most Mountain West teams, but they also pretty much matched how much they were supposed to win by (they were 21 point favorites). They did end up winning by 3 scores

And Penn State beat a Big 12 team in West Virginia by more than 3 scores.

Those 3 don’t seem like they should be dropped down for those results. (There’s an argument - outside of Oregon being ranked lower - for maybe one of the other three being such and pushed down 1 spot in the rankings, but then that wouldn’t hold for the other 2 teams.)

Michigan needed two late scores to get that result. It was a close game deep in the 4th. That doesn’t bode well for them, regardless of how close they came to covering the spread.

Not a good look for this vaunted Oregon team. B1G not looking good outside of OSU.
Penn State looked good.

Iowa looked the same as always so they’ll miraculously go 10-2 I’m sure.

Michigan won their first game 30-0 or something like that last year too. I’m sure they’re fine.

I don’t think Oregon is as bad as the score today was. Their QB had really good numbers, they just didn’t capitalize on the score board.
