Yeah, not too good. I thought George was alright but I'm also bias. He was good enough to be the 3rd or 4th best in a good dunk competition. Not really sure about Evans winning. His one dunk was awesome, probably the best of the night but overall I thought George was better.
VC's dunk contest had very thick competition. I remember being very impressed by McGrady and Francis. Stackhouse went reverse 360 and pumped the ball back with both hands and jammed it hard. The crowd was completely unresponsive because they had just seen VC's first dunk.
That contest spoiled us forever. All the memorable dunks (and there are a lot of them) all had at least some sort of original twist to them.
Didn't Lebron say he'd be in it this year after the one last year?
Either way, ten years ago, you could find the best athletes in the game at the dunk contest. Now it's almost entirely composed of dudes who wouldn't have any other shot of ever being a part of the all star weekend.
