I would like to see more Keller

JG played good. But we really need to see more of Keller Chryst to see if he can take over if our oline collapses and JG gets hurt. What if he started next game to see how he does? What if he was to play better? Thoughts?

Pruitt won't do that. He said he didn't want the starter looking over his shoulder. I thought Chryst's TD pass to Calloway was nice, though.

Why does it matter if he starts?

Man o man, it never stops on here.

What else do you want? He played.

I would like to see him start next game.....thought I said that. Anyways I like JG but feel like something is slightly off. Maybe it's he holds the ball to long. Of course Chryst may have his on problems. All I'm saying is against the next week team let's give him a shot to see how he compares and then make a decision vs Florida. Fair enough?

I think even if Keller isn’t the “better” quarterback he may be the better fit if he’s the more mobile of the two. Especially if the o-line issues continue.

If TN does what it should next week, Keller should see more time than JG again next week. It won't (nor should it be) as a starter though.

Chryst is smooth... after we get throttled in games 4-5-6, JG will hand the ball over without a fight.

If our Oline collapses, right, if or when?
SEC teams will collapse the Oline like a paper cup, unfortunately.

I thought I pointed out that he played and asked what more do you want.

So basically you want to know if we start someone who hasn't earned it and he blows up against literally one of the worst teams in college football how would we react? You mean by falsely creating the appearance of a controversy? Because the first snap would make him gel better with the receivers than the 30th snap? So you think that team continuity heading into conference play takes a back seat to preparing Chryst for JG to get hurt?

You mean how would we respond if CJP shows us what he has seen in practice with his well trained, well compensated football eyes that JG is better?

We would roll our eyes and everyone would laugh at us as we stumble into the UF game. CJP will play Chryst as the backup and if he earns it, he will start. That's why we hired CJP to make those calls.

Lmao. JG is the better QB easily. Looks sharp as hell this year when he has time to throw.

Laugh all you want but he won’t have time against better competition and SEC teams..just stating facts so it’s better to start giving Keller some reps..honestly

Didn't Chryst throw the TD late...receiver had to slow down for sure.

JG is our starter, Chryst is slow in his drop and has a weird release.

Chryst isn't slow in his drop. Chryst is quick at reading and at releasing the ball. Like what was also mentioned is he can read the D. Which is how he knew to go to Jordan Murphy on his TD pass.

That being said JG has done well. Besides making our receivers who have beat their DBs slow up their strides. But again that can be fixed. Both are good QBs.
