Purdue only got about 5,000 tickets total. UT got even less. UT fans did try buying from Purdue but it didn't work as their tickets were given to donors first. UT fans basically just bought up the entire Ticketmaster site and secondary selling sites.

I have been to the last 2 Gator Bowls and Outback Bowl and I will tell you that it was basically home games at both places which the Gator Bowl is in Jacksonville and Outback is in Tampa. Our fan base travels very well when they have a reason to.

Well I attended the last 2 Gator Bowls and Outback bowl and both games was basically home games for UT. These games was played well before Danny White showed up. It doesn’t matter who the AD is. When there is a reason to be excited about the team the fan base will travel to the end of the world for UT. I remember the outback bowl being about about 40,000 Ut fans.

Always travel well, no question about that. I traveled from Disneyworld to watch UT beat Indiana in Jacksonville and back to Disneyworld right after the game. GO VOLS!!!!!

Yes, UT and UCF both had favorable draws location wise, but I think it says a little something that UT and UCF were 1 and 2 here. Maybe he excels at keeping fan support high.
