I think he is the Head Coach in waiting at Dallas... I like him as well but don't think it would happen

He's gonna be head coach of the Cowboys next year. Maybe after that train totally derails and Jerah fires him he will consider a college position.

What has he done in Dallas that is so impressive?

Steve Spagnuolo would be a better assistant, imo.

Quit smoking......... JG has helped screw up Dallas. He has the beast Barber in the backfield and refuses to call run plays... He can stay in Dallas.....

Jason garett's offense in dallas has been as bad as clawson's at UT. He's got all those superstars and they are in last place in their division. I think JJ tries to hire Bill Cowher after wade phillips gets the ax.

11th out of 32 offenses is not "last".

EDIT: Misread that...but again...the 11th place offense is not why they are last.

Concerning the thread title,

I wish Jason Garrett would consider Tennessee... would be more appropriate.

I tried to push this a month or so ago with about the same success as this thread has produced. Apparently, he's a longer shot than Gruden or Cowher, Super Bowl Championship Coaches. I find that hard to believe as well.

Jason Garrett has been shooting for the head coaching job in Dallas since about 1993. He's not going anywhere.

I believe it, but you've got to admit, if we're willing to spend several pages on Jon Gruden and Bill Cowher, you'd think we could consider an NFL OC, for fantasy if nothing else.

I'm not saying we couldn't consider him...but Jerry Jones has pretty deep pockets...

His dad was also a pretty good coach...until he started beating his players...

Hope hes's softened up in his old age as he's coaching HS football now, I think.

I think JJ is the biggest problem because he is a micro manager...
