country for the florida game, fearing the worst, but when I read about the actual circumstances of the game and the way in which the Vols started the game, I was blown away. The incompetence, the ineptitude in the first half was astounding even by Fulmer's already low standards. The coach HAS TO BE SACKED, at the end of this year--and if Hamilton doesn't get that he should be fired himself.

In the biggest game of the year, you start the game by giving up a 52 yard return? Most coaches could put walk-ons on the field and do better. You give up a punt return TD? You have three turnovers--a fumble when a back runs into the QB--at the opponents 1 yard line? You throw a pick in the end zone, and there is another fumble--all in the first half!!!!! Fulmer later says "that's not like us." Hello, Mr. Denial: That is precisely the problem, Big Phil: That's exactly like the keystone kop Vols under Fulmer. What an embarrassment.

I wish I would have been out of the country. That was one of the most pathetic efforts by an offense I have seen in some time. It was an embarrassment - makes me want to take the orange T off my car. I sure hope they can beat NIU - I live in the Chicago area and that school is only 50 miles away.

We will probably win 8 games this year, if only because that would give Fulmer a chance to throw somebody else under the bus and put off the inevitable for yet another year.
