Hey Jason isn’t it nice to know you have several hundred Volnation-ers to straighten you out? 😂😂 I do think he and Rick are very similar in their success though.

I am very pleased with the coaches we have . A very good replacement will be hired to replace English. If fact, we are extremely fortunate to have be where are now. Some people seem to be ashamed of the success we have with our current staff. Get a life.

He is a great individual talent, but just not very conducive to winning within a team framework. A lot like Allen Iverson in that sense. Pete Maravich was like that, too.
Guess I'm showing my age, but I remember seeing Maravich play at the old fieldhouse in 1968 or 69. Vols beat LSU by 25 or so and Pete scored 40 or 50 out of 60 something total.

Cool story time: At a Nike coaching clinic in Tunica, MS about 15 years ago. Had just started my coaching career. Listen to some great coaches like Huggins and Majerus on the first day. Was going to the morning session to listen to Lon the next day. Walking thru the casino at the Grand Casino and I literally catch a gentleman as he falls back out of his chair at the blackjack table. It was Lon Kruger. He was so plastered he couldn't stay upright in his chair. Lol. He did his session the next morning like a champ. You would have never known. Must know a good hangover remedy.
