LSU's loss to Arkansas on Friday left UT as the only SEC team to go unbeaten (7-0) at home this year.

In a year where we were beaten by two of our biggest rivals, we did protect our "house" and that's certainly to be commended. And to be the only team in the SEC to do so is remarkable. I want teams to be afraid to walk into Neyland.

yah, they would be really afraid to come in if they let me stand at the gate with a rabid blue tick, and a pike

we've had our head handed to us at home in the past few years and I honestly think that a home loss is more demoralizing to a team's fanbase.

I agree. Never lose at home sends a msg. to the other team. I would think the fans would rather see a L on the road compared to @ home.

We are definitely this year's Come Back Kid. Let's seal the deal in ATL.

Looking back, I actually think coming out of that slugfest at Miss. State with the win may have been the most impressive thing they did this year. That and the UK survival.

Nice point about being the only undefeated home team...

In the past few years, I have griped a lot about us losing big games at home. Kudos to our team for "holding serve" this year.

And not to be overly optimistic, but winning every game at home usually leads to bigger and better things. Dominance starts on the home field.

Excellent post!

Vol fever is running wild.

I'm not sure if I am on the same board this morning or not, but it is so reassuring to see so many positive posts about our team!
