I want to apologize

Many moons ago, I made a comment about the Marines. I used the term Bullet Sponge in one of my post and it clearly offended a few people on here. While I normally don't care how people feel about me, I do feel that in this specific situation I need to apologize. A few days ago, I made a post and someone brought up my Bullet Sponge comment from months back. Whether or not this person was simply trying to get a reaction or they were actually hurt by this comment because they are ex military, I truly do not know. I do know though that it obviously stuck with them and others in the miltary on here.

I want to first state that that I view all of our military as a top notch group. Without the military none of us would have the freedoms that we do. I want to also state that I admire all of our military. The comment I made was a joke but it was a bad joke. It might have not actually offended anyone on here. Everyone making a comment about it might simply being using it in the attempt to get a reaction. But if it did hurt a single marine, current or ex, on here than the joke should not have been made. Anyone who is willing to die for our country and for the freedoms of Americans that they will never meet deserves to be treated better than that. They deserve to be honored.

Because of that, I apologize if the comment I made hurt any Marine on here. Thank you again for all that you do.
