I've not been a vocal negative fan towards Coach Conzo. However I have not held much faith in him, and I have been guilty of apathy towards this team and to this coach. Bluntly, this team is playing with passion and fundamentals. I'm sorry for the doubt and not being a passionate supporter. I have been afforded with some excellent basketball these past few weeks, and it's only getting better. All I can say is go vols! Keep up the good work and I'm on board 100%!

It's all good! This should be the official "Anti-Martin Amnesty" post haha. It's time for all Vols to come home and enjoy the tourney. We could be in for a hell of a fun ride!

Don't feel guilty. Until now, none of us had any reason to have faith in CCM. Now the team is starting to show some signs of life and the Sweet 16 looks very possible from where we're sitting.

This whole season some of us have said to let the season play out and were called Conzoites or some other unfunny name. This is exactly why you let it play out.

GBO!

Well said. This team is playing like most expected them to all season. For whatever reason, it took a while for that light to come on, but it's on and shining bright right now.

A lot of people will make excuses for the late season surge (opponents weren't good, etc), but beating teams by an average of 30 points is impressive. The Iowa game notwithstanding, Tennessee has largely been most successful when jumping out to a big lead. It happened again today, and they again stepped on the throat of an opponent. Some will still discredit this team's success by virtue of a fortunate road, but winning is winning, winning by 20 in the NCAA tournament vs a team seeded 5 spots higher is impressive.

Go Vols! Beat Mercer!

Well gee, look who has changed his tune real quickly.

I was about to start a tread like this. I have supported the vols with all my heart, but not the coach. I even went, and signed the petition. I will say that I am sorry. I should have let the season play out. I guess I was blinded by the grass on the other side of the fence. If they want I will drive CCM new contract to him right now. Go VOLS...

So what happens to the Martin supporters if we lose to Mercer?

I think he's earned the right to keep his job at this point. A loss to Mercer would be disappointing, but his accomplishments will outweigh that disappointment. At least they should. Mercer is no slouch, as Coach K can testify.

Nothing. Disappointed that the bracket set up great, but still supportive because he has shown he is not inept, his style of play works, and his players do like playing for him. All things Anti Martins have been complaining about.

I'll agree. He deserves an extension.

IMO, this team was talented enough to make a run at the sweet 16 and now that's an actual possibility. I'm impressed with how disciplined this team is. We've played two up tempo teams and kept the game at our pace. I didn't see that earlier in the year.

I am almost there. To rejoin the Zo Team I need to see the offensive system adapt to changes and adjustments that the opponents do. I also want to see an upgrade in roster talent. I want him to be more assertive with officials. Once those items are addressed I will support Zo without reservation the rest of his career at UT.

I really like Zo as a person and representative of UT and his family. He has great character and values that have transferred to the team and public very well. He is an excellent defensive coach. He develops players well. He needs help with the offense. That has been obvious that the adjustments are just no there against the better teams, especially coming out of half time. But nothing can take away from what the team is doing these last 8 games. Fantastic!

If a coach goes 0-3 for the tourney, you should be.

He made the tourney by playing Iowa. If you don't agree with, it's fine, but we won't get anywhere in this conversation. So, I'd suggest you just agree to disagree.

OK, I want to come forward and eat some crow and top it off with some humble pie for dessert!! I was a vocal critic of Coach Zo and I apologize to the fans who stuck through the thick and thin! I never waiver on GO VOLS but I want to add GO Coach Zo, best of luck to you! All aboard the Zo train to the SWEET 16!!

I think the BBB petition has woke up the sleeping giant. I think that made them even closer and playing for CCM.

So funny they are now flying to the bandwagon.
