Seriously. I think they both could end up being 2 of the more physical backs that we have had since the glory days. When I watch them it looks like they both run extremely hard. Lewis might have a little more lateral quickness but Bishop is like a sledgehammer running between the tackles. That kid is built for grinding out tough yards in the SEC.Bishop and Peyton Lewis are going to be a good tandem toting the rock this year , great testimony!
Agreed , Bishop has gotten better each season , plays and runs with attitude . I am looking forward to watching both this year , who is going to be the next back to round out the trio ?Seriously. Feed him the rock then. If the Vols can be run heavy, it'll spell good things for the season.441 rushes as a HS JuniorView attachment 757264
I appreciate what Sampson did. But, UT will not have a drop off at RB should the OL be as good as it was last year. I think the big question is a C. If UT gets solid Center play, Lewis, Star, and Bishop will get at least 2500 yards for the season to keep the streak alive of the running game rushing for at least 2500 yards in a season! If that happens and one of the QBs plays as well or better than Nico which shouldn't be hard, UT has a chance to make the playoffs again as long as the D is about as productive as it was last year. A ton of our own fans and other naysayers don't believe UT has a chance to win even 8-9 games, much less make a playoff. I am wearing the orange colored glasses and believe 10 or 11 wins during the regular season!Bishop and Peyton Lewis are going to be a good tandem toting the rock this year , great testimony!
