That's an angle of that story I'm surprised wasn't pursued further. When I first heard hookers were involved, my assumption is that they were for players, which is why they'd have to fire him. It's quite possible they were for both himself and players.

This is definitely another topic for a different forum but your first statement is what’s wrong with Christians. The idea that you’re supposed to be without sin is crazy and unfair. None of us have the first stone to throw. At the same time, if he’s confessed to his wife and family (he has), and suffered the consequences for his actions (he has) and he has accountability in place to ensure it doesn’t happen again, I’m okay with him coaching here or anywhere. As a former addict and pastor who hid my sin because I was so ashamed, it took the crap hitting the fan for me to get right. I did, and I’m a better man for it. If a man sat across from my son, humbled by his past mistakes and willing to own up to it, asked him to come play ball at TN, I wouldn’t think twice about it. But that’s just me. Carry on.

I used religion because it’s the foundation of what he believes. He lied and messed up bad. But his response to what he did, doesn’t he get up and make it right or do it all again, is how I’ll “judge” him.

I'm a little shocked at the hipocracy about Freeze or any other candidate for OC or any candidate for Dog Catcher or any other person who thinks he has lived the perfect rightous live and can represent anything rightous. Every person that has breath is sinful. Every person who has breath needs a Savior and forgiveness if they repent of thier sins. I don't want to preach, I want to get excited about football. For the Forty Three Millionth time, the allegations against Freeze are supported by rock solid evidence, the Schianno crap with Penn State is the triple hearsay testimony of disturbed individual. I thank God every day that we did not get Schianno, but his connection to the Penn State scandal is incredibly flimsy and most likely completely non-existent.
