I was thinking about this, and although I love seeing Paul Johnson win games at Navy, I think he'd look good in orange. Here's why.

1) Navy's offensive line is built around the fact that most of their guys aren't particularly good blockers.

2) Navy's passing game is non-existent

3) Navy has no defense to speak of

4) Navy has a very large fan following and regularly fills pre-January bowl games

5) Navy gets 8 wins by beating the middling teams and 4 losses by losing to the good ones

Basically, it would feel just like Navy if he were to come to UT.

He wouldn't look good here's why

1)SEC Team speed would kill his option attack, ask Nebraska
2)We're UT, we're getting a top notch coach that will be here awhile
3)At UT you have to play good opponnets week in and wekk out

1994 - Nebraska 24, Miami 17
1995 - Nebraska 62, Florida 24
1997 - Nebraska 42, UT 17
1999 - Nebraska 31, UT 21

The decline began for Nebraska not when Solich was there, but when they decided to change coaches and picked up Bill Callahan.

Agreed Solich got screwed but with quicker Defenses that option attack would get anilahated on a week to week basis. You see teams like Air Force, Navy, etc pull off an upset but in a 12 game year would be bad
