And yet, I think he CAN run a bit, probably better than Peyton and Clausen, though not as well as Brandon.

But, meanwhile, we have to let it play out in the practices. Our coaches know what they need to see. 🤷

Earned the right? Is that short for saying since he's been here and didn't transfer he should start as a thank you?
We just have reports and but it sound like GMac has his work cut out for him.

It's easy to look over what click bait videos from places like Talkin Vawls say, not so much when Price and Hubbs, saying it's close. Hearing a true freshman for all purposes is tied with your QB that's been in the system a year and is talented in his own right but no meaningful playing time has people thinking the TF has more upside and higher ceiling and if there's going to be growing pains, may as well take them with what appears the more upside guy

We'll know in a few weeks who earned it.

I seem to remember quite a few interceptions thrown by Manning in those games- Chief had no part of that mess lol.

Your point is however taken. There was more than enough blame to go around for those losses.

Doing him dirty how? By potentially not starting him?

If he can’t clearly beat out a true freshman. I don’t want him starting anyway. Loyalty and it’s their turn is out the door. I want wins. I’m tired of it feels like ‘98.

Like I said in my previous post. We’ll find out who the starter is in a few weeks.

when watching interviews with GMac he seems to have no confidence. He looks at the floor more than he does the camera or person asking the question. I don’t doubt that he has the physical ability to be the starting quarterback, but I’m not sure he has the moxie. Just my thoughts

I’ll pull for whoever wins the job, but to me Brandon has the look of the prototypical qb and he can run. GMac looks a little awkward at 6’6, kind of like Nico did.

I can't say i care who starts because I will be rooting for them regardless.


However, the growing pains theory is a bad way for a head coach to keep his job. A good way to keep it is to play the guy that gives us the best chance to win today.

Future year's plans in college sports today are what gods laugh at.

I am not trying to be rude, but who cares about doing any of these players "dirty." These guys are mercenaries and have shown they will leave the team for any number of reasons with no regard for the fans or the rest of the team. Play the person who can win the most games; it's a simple concept
