I think Fulmer is going to be fired at the end of the season

Does Fulmer resign or step down at the end of season?

UT has played poorly in 2 of 3 games this season. I dont think UT beats SC, GA, Alabama or Arkansas either. I think UT loses 1 more game to either Ky, Vandy, Miss St, or a bowl opponent. That makes UT 7-6 on the year. I think he's done. IMO Hamilton forces him to retire at the end of the year.

I don't think he'll get fired. I think he will give UT a new chance to get back to the top and resign. It sucks that he will probably not be leaving on the highest note, but he's got to see that everyone wants a new direction.

fulmer DEFINITELY doesn't get fired, and he doesn't resign either. after all, all you gotta do is work like heck in the spring and summer and get better.

Does anyone honestly see UT beating anyone in the SEC this year other then maybe Vandy, Ky, or Miss St?

We can only hope that will be the case. The wheels are off this bus.

If it look like we were prepare and just got beat by a better team, I could live with it.

It looked like we were not prepared -- and were coached poorly in the game.

May be Fulmer backs down do to health reasons.

you know i like fulmer, he is a good coach, but i believe that his tenue is just about up. he either needs to retire or be let go at the end of the season. as for as a replacement goes, i think possibly Jon Gruden from the bucs would be nice. and who knows, if we would pay enough maybe even a pete carrol possibly??

If I were the money, the only thing that would satisfy me is winning out, and finishing 10-2. Of course, I'm not the money (yet haha). But after the terrible 05 season, this should be the one where we dominate. And we're not going to. At best, I expect a 9-3 season, with another bowl loss. At worst, another 05. Either Way, that makes too many seasons without anything of substance to show.

Doesnt matter if they dont bring in the right guy after him.

Phil Steele calls it 'being Baylored', changing coaches like underwear. If a move is made, we need to have our guy lined up, and commit to his system and keep our heads up through whatever growing pains that might come with regime change

like it or not we're gonna have to bring in a new innovative coach to install a new and totally different style of play than us original Vol fans are used to seeing... theres no doubt that we will need an aggressive coach with a killer instinct but i think since we are gonna be playing against a new batch of coaches in the SEC who are gonna take chances, run up and down field, and blow you out everytime they get a chance to that we need someone to come in here and install that killer instinct in our players and focus more on getting stuff done and making things happen than playing not to lose and give up big plays

there are going to be a lot of coaching changes this year, Carr, possibly Weiss, Grundy at Oklahoma St, etc. UT needs to make a coaching early or not at all.
