After reflecting upon Fulmer's resignation yesterday and today, I wish he would've voluntarily retired and allowed this thing to end peacefully.I appreciate what he has done for the university but UT football has been around long before Fulmer came here and after he's gone it will still be here. It's not the University of Phillip Fulmer. It wasn't the University of Johnny Majors ,Bill Battle, Doug Dickey or anyone. The support of the fans throughout the years has no less played a major part in UT football. What Mike did was inevitable. How bad do you think Majors felt when he was fired and no ultimatums.

The only reason Hammy finally acted was that he knew if he didn't:

1) We would probably lose 2 of the next 3 games
2) Neyland would be empty for the 2 home games left.

It all came down to what we have said all along: $$$$$$ Talks

it amazes me that anybody would "not" support MH's decision. i think back to last year when Phil went an entire game and didnt know that Coker hadnt played, until questioned about it, afterwards. this decision is long overdue. most everybody on VN seemed in agreement until it really happened.

You'd be surprised. After listening to the radio this morning in Nashville, I was AMAZED at all the "season" ticket holders and fans called in to say how unfair this was it was a bad call. Bad Call?, unreal for people to bash the University now, after all this. It wasnt the "feel good" move, but it was the ONLY move.
