I can’t explain why we lost. I don’t know how long it should take someone to build a decent defense. I don’t know why we haven’t been able to put it together. But I do like our coaching staff.

This loss is unacceptable, but we are in a rebuild. I’d hoped year 2 would be better, but it’s hard to replace 3 starters on the DL and there’s obviously some other challenges.

Don’t bail on Pruitt until after he’s had his chance with two of his own QBs.

Bud we just lost, in the season opener, at home, to a terrible sun belt team. Eh you know what, never mind.

Brave man. I’ll always hold out for my Vols... but I guess I need to drink the realist juice.. the fact is we stink and will get there eventually. I can’t believe that we’re never gonna not be relevant again. That’s nonsense.. it takes discipline, faith, hard work, heart, and stability to build a good program.

They needed to hire an experienced coach. This is Tennessee for Pete’s sake!

They screwed the search, and got stuck with Pruitt. He could be good later, but he’s having to learn on the run. That’s not what you want in a coach at UT.

Look what A&M did - they had similar talent when they hired Jimbo. Look what he’s done in a tougher division.

It is about talent - but it’s more about coaching.

New strategy-Throw to Jennings, handoff to grey and say a lot of Hail Marys In between😂😂😂...I don’t put this all on Pruitt but it's concerning the lack of effort we’re seeing.Last year was excusable today was just a loss for words game.

OP said EXACT same thing about Dooley and Butch
Funny you should say that, considering I had a different screen name under those head coaches. I told my wife to change my password sometime last season. She did. Asked her for it a while back and she couldn’t remember. In other words, you’re FOS.

We had 8 months to prepare for GA st. Who was predicted to finish last in their conference. These are the kind of games that will drive a program into the ground for good. I sure hope I'm wrong.
Yeah. The least negative thought I could conjure while taking in and attempting to digest that horrifying, mystifying mess was... "Gee Ryan Leaf, not as dumb as I thought he would be."

Lmao blaming JG when the defense gave up 38 points to a freaking 2-10 sun belt team just stop

I'm lost at this point.

He is a football guy, Jones and Dooley were not.

I think we need a football guy. I do not understand what I saw today..
This is where I am. Don't even know where to begin. We have more size and talent, by a margin. We have NC-caliber coordinators and a HC that supposedly knows football. It's unexplainable.
