He wanted to desperately kill the image that the big 10 can't beat the sec. He planned this to be a program changer. Anyone who watched this game saw Ark totally blew the game every step of the way. But that's the breaks.

Lmao. I guess I should have added that there was NO WAY he was playing that game without all those star players. One Worldwide Bowl win is worth more than any season big 10 loses. He knows he will not be in a bcs title game again. But he has 3 games a year to prove himself. Wisconsin, Iowa or Penn St, and the Bcs bowl.

Thought it was interesting that the commentator mentioned the player who intercepted the pass was one of the guys who will be suspended next year.

Those 5 guys won it for Tressel, integrity at its best. They're no different than any other program in that regard. Bad part is now all the Big 10 blowhards will think Ohio State really is on equal footing with the SEC. Arkansas was a one man show.

This is so true. Is there any SEC fan that really believes Arky is the second best team in the league? I know how the records played out but talent and coaching wise, I'd put them 3rd at best maybe even 4th in the West.

4th? Behind who? They lost to Auburn (understandable) and bama (but finished better) and beat the rest. Plus they're better than anyone in the SECe

A much as I hate ohio st. I did get tremendous joy by seeing Bobby Petrino, one of the biggest dirt bags in the business, choke one away on a national stage with the best team he is ever going to have.

Let’s not let these glorified exhibition games dictate Ohio State's ability against the SEC. When Ohio St plays the SEC usually they are playing a good team from the SEC. That doesn't mean that every SEC team can beat Ohio State. Conversely Ohio State beating Arkansas gives them no better chance to beat other teams in the SEC...whether those teams are better or worse than Arkansas.

Getting beat by auburn and bama, it could be argued they are 3rd best. Are they really that much better than LSU or the Chickens?
