If Fulmer is gone and he is going to laugh all the way to First American Bank and join Volnation and sit in his rocking chair and watch this board bitch and complain why we have had 5 coaches in the year of 2012 and no titles since his departure!! :eek:lol:

I'll be laughing too my fairweathered friends!!

We are going to end up being the Notre Dame ofthe past 10 years

nice try Fulmer raised the program to the next level for a while then lost it, so now its time to turn it over and start afresh.

Ummm, after we let go of Majors we won an NC 6 years later. So if you're saying you want to win an NC in 6 years after Fulmer is let go, then I'm all for it.

Haven't seen that term too much lately. You are so out of touch it's unbelievable. Maybe you should let your fugi-fighting son write your posts for you.

I think the sheeple (and Mike Hamilton who thinks this isn't as great a job as we think) will be surprised how quickly a new, young coach will turn this around. This is a great place to coach. I think they'll also be surprised how many in-state kids will start showing up on the roster and making a difference.

Yes, no one will come here and light a fire, just like no basketball coach will come here and get everyone pumped for basketball season.

Oh wait....that did happen. And hear/read some say "Yes but football is different". Well the way I see it, Pearl came in to NOTHING and by his first game he had excitement for the program. Buzz had the program so low no one gave a crap, and yet Pearl had a sellout for game 1 of his UT career. For football, it's not like the new coach is going to have to convince people to show up....UT fans WANT Neyland to be rocking like it used to be.

I can assure you there is nothing fairweather about the 1200 Tennessee fans that are on this board in the middle of the afternoon on a Monday, discussing what has become of our beloved football team, and what needs to be done to get it back on top. If we were fairweather fans we would have just stopped caring about the team all together and just be cheering for Bama by now.
