Depends on how many games and downloads will be played consistently. The 250 gb hard drives are usually around 100 bucks normally. I can't imagine 4gb being enough.

I asked if the 4gb was actually 4gb because it doesn't seem realistic to sell anything with that small capacity.

IIRC it's internal memory and is most likely around the 2.8-3.3 range. Maybe someone else can clarify.

4GB is going to be nowhere close to enough. There are several Kinect games that a required to be downloaded rather than purchased at a store. For example, The Gunstringer, which comes in at around 3.2GB alone. Plus newer games are coming with more discs that require you to install the second disk for improved graphics. 250GB is a bit of overkill, but it's your only other option with the newer Xbox. In my opinion, you should go with the new one.

Got the 4GB with Kinect for $199 and I'll get him a 250GB for $100. Best I could do.
