CBP has made me a BB fan big time. I'm glad he came to UT and I hope we can kep him. I followed NCAA BB during the tourney for years. But now I can't wait to see UT hit the hard wood. Thank you Coach Pearl.

Me too. I can't remember getting 'up' for Tennessee hoops like since Pearl got here. There was little inspiring in years past. It used to be that you would go and hope that Dale Ellis had a big game, or Yarbrough, etc.. since they were the only part of the team that was typically 'on.' Now we have a group of kids that are playing inspired ball - and it's fun to watch! I do hope Pearl stays around for a long, long time.

I have in-laws who hate BB who now like watching the UT games even for the entertainment value of BP. A few others like watching the three point fest and the speed this team has.

I have to admit I watched games in the past just for the "support the team" attitude but now it is well worth watching at all levels.

I've always been a BB fan. My favorite sport as a kid, but to watch the Vols was just depresing. Now I can't wait to see the Vols. CBP knew the fan base was there, and all he had to do was wake a sleeping giant. BB in the state is awesome. We keep Tenn kids home and we'll be competitive. Just exited to know that when Sept. gets here, we have 8 months of UT sports to really get behind. Living in FL I need that 8 months (sorry Gator fans):) :hi:

I would always root for UT no matter the sport. I just never really got excited (or it was rare) about our BB team due to performance. Now that Bruce has turned Ktown into the Pearl City BB has become yet another vice that I can't afford (time wise). But no complaints Coach. Keep it up! :clapping:

Hey, cool thing is if the football team screws up...we can always say we're a BB school now.:)

All kidding aside...CBP is bringing excitement, attitude & pride to the hardwood!

Agreed...I bleed orange but in the past I always followed Purdue in hoops more than my UT...now Bruce has come in and fired up the program and it's fan base and it's a beautiful thing!

Living in Eastern Washington everyone over here is fired up about how Tony Bennett has turned around the WSU BBall program but I'm not buying it untill they do the same next season.
