Phillips is the 5* HS recruit who most influenced me as to why it’s better to invest NIL$ in older proven college guys. I recall hearing Phillips got an $800K NIL deal and while he flashed his talent, he clearly needed another year or two to develop. Igor, Chaz, and Felix are all more productive this season and likely for less money. If you’re only getting a player for one season then buying the one who has the highest ceiling 5 years down the road doesn’t seem like the best investment. JMO
