I LOVE Tennessee

I read someone's post which detailed their new founded hatred toward the Vols and their plans to burn all of their orange and white memorabilia. If that's how you truly feel, then email me and I'll give you my address so you can send it all to me; Hell, I'll pay the shipping fee. I love the Tennesse Vols. I love the T's on the helmet, I love when Smokey leads the team through the BIG T, and I definetely love when the Pride of the Southland blares Rocky Top. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to determine whether or not our season has been a good one or not, but my love for the BIG ORANGE isn't affected whatsoever. Would I have liked for things to go differently? Of course I would have, but the past is the past. Take this season for what it's worth; In my case, I went to two games this year (Miss St. and SC) and I had a great time with the friends who went with me and I also made some new friends and memories. Basketball is coming up and we have the coach and players who can take this team far into the ncaa tournament (maybe even national champions) and we'll have a new football coach next year; which will be exciting to watch. Phil, thanks for EVERYTHING you have done for this program, you've always been a class act. People can hate on this thread, I don't care, but I love this team and everything that comes with it. GO VOLS! :rock:

I, too, love the Vols with a passion. Just want the season and the era to be over, so we can start moving on.

If anyone ever says they hate Tennessee because they have a bad year then they aren't true fans. I bet those people would be right back on the band wagon as soon as we get back to winning games.
