Generally speaking most companies have a strict policy on NCNS. My company is fairly liberal with it compared to most. We terminate after the 3rd NCNS, or two in a row is considered job abandonment. Usually HR will reach out though and if there are extenuating circumstances they won't count it against them.
Yeah but is that not showing up at all or just being late? Where I work, NCNS means you don't show up or contact at all for the entire day. And yes we have the same 3 NCNS policy.
