Oakland's big European guy hit a turnaround fade-away jumper just inside the 3 pt line and then followed it up a few trips later with a bank shot from just inside 3.

They played well but hit a lot of lucky shots in the 2nd half so I don't take too much away from this game.

Our lack of intensity(except for B-Dub and Melvin) doesn't even worry me that much. However, Bruce going with Pearl jr for so long does. Bruce needs to be willing to adjust his rotation and bring Tobias back in the game sooner. Getting Harris in the game a minute or two sooner wouldn't wear him out and probably would have made the difference in that game. Having Pearl jr on the court making silly fouls and contributing nothing to the offense is a problem. Here's to hoping that Maymon comes in and takes most of his minutes.

It is impossible to say "if he hadn't played his son so much we would have won" because that is nothing more than a guess...There was probably a more than adequate reason Harris was on the bench and I think its pretty obvious that Pearl wants to win...he's not gonna play his son and accept losses just so his his gets some minutes, that's just not BP's style...

I think this loss will motivate the big Orange and catapult them to bigger and better things in the long run. Let's not forget, the season is only just beginning!!!!

Pearl is like the dennis rodman of the team, rebounds, plays defense and does all the dirty work. just don't look for to much offensive output.

Pearl is nothing like Dennis Rodman. Rodmans left nut is tougher and could grab more boards than little Steve.

At least Rodman would hit an occasional 3 and score on putbacks. I like what Pearl does for the team but he has the worst offensive game that I have ever seen on this level.

I don't have a problem with Bruce playing him but I do have a problem with the sub rotation that leaves us with no playmakers on the court.

Well said. First priority, win the damn game. Oakland just lost by 1 at Michigan St. BP knew what was coming. Losing the 11 pt. lead was the icer. You don't allow that to an inferior team.

I thought Pearl played so much because Harris got in foul trouble. Maymon coming back should cut down Pearl's minutes, although I don't know how much difference it would have made if he were eligible for this game.

I know this is a disappointing loss, but take heart, Williams had a monster game (the best of his career, by far) even after an injury, and Goins made a valiant effort to put the team on his back in the last few minutes. Unfortunately with Scotty having such a bad night and Tobias having foul touble, Brian and Melvin's efforts just were not enough. I for one am proud of those two, and with all the complaining about the loss lets not forget how good they were.

In a game like this, It should have been Isolate Tobias on the block.. They oculdnt stop him one on one and if they double Cam should have gotten a few better looks from 3 land. Tobias barely touched the ball late.

It was, Harris picked up his 4th around the 8 minute mark and that is when he went to the bench.
