A faculty panel assembled to examine football student-athlete Brandon Warren's appeal of a denial of his transfer request released its decision to the university on Monday.
The panel, made up of three members of the FSU faculty and chaired by Dr. Joe Beckham, delivered the following written decision.
"It is the determination of the faculty panel that the information presented by Brandon Warren does not rise to the level of 'objective evidence that proves the student-athlete's extraordinary personal hardship' and is insufficient to support his appeal of the NCAA and FSU transfer policy. Panel members were unanimous in their conclusions that the appeal should be denied and the transfer rule should be enforced."
you know, i honestly don't know.......but if FSU won't release him, what can the NCAA do?This has no relevence to his NCAA appeal, the one that really counts, right?

he asked for the release, they denied, he appealed, they denied again.......now he has to sit out 07, and then he can go whereever he wants.
can the NCAA override that? if so, why have the process even at the university level?
That's what I want to know. I would think the NCAA could overturn it. Maybe the normal progression is that you have to go through the school first and then to the NCAA. :dunno:
