I just don’t get it... why would Baylor look so much better than us

So again uh;

Baylor’s five year average is 33.8
Tennessee’s five year average is 13.2

Five-year college football recruiting averages should forecast next season
Shallow comparison. Teams who do not have a decent Oline or Dline will not win against teams who do have good Lines. Most everyone knows that the line of scrimmage is where one loses or wins football games. We also kno that it also takes talent at every position to win championships. The weakest part of Tennessee's football team in resent years has been the Oline and the Dline. More recently Tennessee has been short of talent at LB and DB positions. In addition, many of the better players have transferred or been underdeveloped. Be patient, things are changing.

Our O line, that's it. And we will continue to suck until the talent/depth there is back.

No other component of our team is as bad as it looks. JG no time, RBs no holes or line push, WRs no time. Defense constantly on the field and tires by halftime.

I thought Mullen was the second best coach available behind Jimbo, neither disappointed me. Of course, many others thought the same

Baylor wouldn't have qualified for a bowl in the SEC... and Vandy is still not a good football program. Better? Sure. But that's relative. It doesn't take a "good" football team to stop an offense like the one UT had this fall.

Baylor could schedule 4 wimps OOC like Mizzou does, beat Tenn & Vandy ( they just did) and qualify. If in West, same formula and beat OM and Arkansas (probably would).
