a 32'' HDTV 1080p for $450 at Compusa. The Compusa on Kingston Pike in Knoxville is going out of business so every thing is at least 40% off and they are only open a few more days so some of the prices are incredibly cheap. This TV retails for over 1,000 and I got it for $450 since they knocked so much off the price. Its great, it works perfect.

It's becaus it's 1080p, producing that many pixels is expensive.

Not that you'll notice the resolution difference unless you watch your TV from 3 feet.

So what's the point in getting HD with all the increased pixels? Does everybody watch their tv's from 3 feet these days?

Just saying with a 32" tv, the difference between 720p and 1080p will not be noticeable.

When you start talking 50"+ then there's a difference.

I have a 62 inch Samsung and there is a huge difference. I have a 42 Sceptre and you can notice the difference but not like on the Samsung. I also have a 32 inch Symphonic I hardly notice the difference between 720p and 1080p.

I dont think you will notice any difference because of the p. That is for stuff in the not too distant future. But nothing is being done with it yet. I think this info is correct.
