why would he say that? the only reason for any coach to ever say that would just be for the purpose of keeping their current team from getting distracted.
he doesn't have a job.

Um no, he was quoted as saying that he thought he had a good chance of getting the Tennessee HC position. He's definitely interested.

also, what is the timing between kiffin coming out and saying he was interested in the washington job and when hammy pulled the trigger and told phil he wasn't coming back?
