I have never in my entire life read so much crap from so many armchair quarterbacks and future D-1 college football coaches(not) on this message board as I have today and trust me that is saying a lot. Who melts down over a win? It was a win. Cry a damn river over a W? Seriously? Who cares what it looked like? Who cares what the score was? It was a FREAKING WIN!! :banghead2::banghead2::banghead2:

We will take a win, any win. The fact is we will not be favored to win any game left except Ky. THAT DOESNT MEAN WE WONT win any of those games, but I cant remember a year when we were underdogs that many times. This team is thin on talent- so , it is what it is.

I'm just saying, USA only lost by a point to Southern Utah, and those Thunderbirds really know how to play football!

But no, really, I agree. A win is a win. It's unfortunate we've got no QB, but we'll just have to deal with it.

Still think the loss to Kensucky was the mostest epic. I'm surprised Dooley made it home in one piece that night.

We all know we're thin on talent. Got it. But we also appear to be thin on discipline, intensity and scheme and that's what has me, a huge Butch backer, concerned. I was expecting to see a slow, avg to below avg personnel type team.... check.

I wasn't expecting to see that same team consistently out of position, missing tackles, dropping passes, incapable of completing a simple 8 yard crossing route and committing bad procedure penalties. Thats all, thats what it is for me. And, with where this program is, "a win is not a win"....it matters how they win vs a SunBelt team.

A win is certainly better than a loss and I'm glad we got the W, but....

if a win over South Alabama is just another win, would a loss to South Alabama be just another loss ?

I don't think so.
