I have a feeling you are going to start seeing a lot more of what happened last night

Umm s*** like that is how you change things when the other side doesn’t care and won’t do anything about it. Just ask George Washington. 😆

And ain’t nobody banning fans. Trust me. That’s like banning food for a week because it gave you indigestion.

I’m also not saying I would have taken part in that mess. I’m also not saying that under the right conditions that I wouldn’t have been right in the middle of it.

That is a poor diagnosis.

This is more than indigestion.

Ignoring the symptoms won't make the underlying issue go away.

So punish them because they are better? You are hilarious, laughing at not with.

So you are happy with Alabama beating 90% of the SEC by 5-6 TDs every year. I imagine those games really draw ratings.

This is why large parts of the country are tuning out to CFB. Sure, it is great if you are fans of Alabama or Ohio State but not great for other teams.

For example, everyone always trashes the Pac12 and they never get playoff teams. Well guess what, no one on the West Coast watches CFB now.

They broke up Big East and never talk about Boston College, Pitt, Syracuse, etc. Well guess what, no one in the Northeast watches CFB now.

How long until Tennesseans stop watching it? I know a lot of people that have stopped watching UT and another large segment that just root for Alabama now.

Never mind Kiffin and Corral aggravating the fans. Or Kiffin having every player on his team fake an injury, thus causing the game to last hours longer which in turn allowed people to just get hammer drunk.

I feel like people could have kept it together through all that.

But the officiating that we saw mixed in with everything else pushed it passed the boiling point. People are tired of this crap. They are tired of pee poor flags and spots, and just plan screwing with the outcomes.

It may not be the next game with poor officiating, but my spider sense tells me this is going to happen again, and soon.

Like I said. People are tired of it. Somebody que up Twisted Sister.

To Hell with Twisted Sister. They suck anyway.

If people are tired of it? Let em do more of this. Let them be banned from campus forever. Oh they might still get tickets and show up to games. But their names will be on a banned list, and the second time they get hammer drunk and do something? I am sure a judge will find them a cell for a few months or something like that. Might have to sell a car to pay the fine.

Sooner or later examples will be made. Book it.

Works well in the NFL. NFL gives the worse team the first draft pick.

A college equivalent would the top 5 star in the SEC would go to Vandy, next one would go to South Carolina, etc.

It would at least give these fanbases hope and make for a competitive product and enjoyable product instead of watching Alabama beat NEARLY everyone by 5-6 TDs every game.
You are hilarious, so as a high rated recruit you have to go to Vandy? They get their pick, this is not the professional sports . Worst don’t get first pick. Kids choose and they are going to go to a winning school if they can most of the time.

People can be tired of it all they want, but s*** like last night won't change anything other than they'll start banning fans or penalizing the team.

I disavree

If last nights incidents dont cause folks in power to tKe a look i to why, nothing will.

There have been hundreds of games at Neyland and millions of fans attend thise games. This is abnormal behavior brought on by something.

I agree. College Football needs to re-evaluate itself. When the same teams continue to win all of the time, it is starting to creating frustration, anger, etc. The leagues cover these teams as well.

In the SEC, it is Alabama. in the B1G, it is Ohio State.

For the good of the sport, the NCAA should punish those programs and allow other schools to win for once like Michigan and Penn State in the B1G and other schools in the SEC.
To quote the great philosopher Stu: You are literally too stupid to insult.

So sit here and whine every day about losing because you are NOT beating Alabama in your lifetime. Even when Saban leaves, they will probably get someone just as good to replace him.

Enjoy mediocrity. Heck, 70% of the SEC is mediocre like Tennessee right now. Crap product and crap Sport.

I don’t necessarily think it’s right but desperate times call for desperate measures. It shouldn’t have gotten to that point but it’s not the fans’ fault it did. I just wish it would’ve happened after the TD reversal bc the 4th down spot was (unfortunately) correct….

I also think it had the opposite effect that ppl believe it did on recruits. They know UT’s reputation around the league and they saw the bad calls too. They saw their potential fans as rowdy as they were do all they could do to support the team. They may be kids but they understand that reaction. Net land should be an intimidating place to play and the fans have to reclaim that in any way they can.

I’m a UT fan, I will always watch them. If you were a UT fan that now roots for Alabama good riddance. If you quit watching college ball because some team wins too much good riddance. Your idea to level the playing field by punishing the programs that win too much is laughable at best.
See earlier post where I stated that was the dumbest post I’ve read, yours keeps getting dumber IMO.

Yes.

To me, the game is not producing a product that I enjoy.

If this was a movie, video game, etc., you wouldn't mind if I pointed out faults in the product that it is a failure.

Sure Saban has a nice run but it has been very unhealthy for the sport as a whole. There are 100s of fanbases but there are only 4-5 teams that are relevant right now. Not good for College Football.

We have entire regions of the country (like the Northeast and West Coast) that are tuning out of the sport.

Take from the haves and give to the have nots? Sports socialism? I'm am as tired of the Bama's of the world dominating football as anybody. But in the words of the famous Ric Flair. "You've got to beat the man to be the man"

Sell me your tickets, I’ll gladly sit in your seats and cheer for my beloved Vols while you stay home and fight for equality in college football.

“Allow” other teams to win. What is, a babysitters club? TF kind of ridiculousness is this? I suppose they’re allowing OM to win.

Kiffin and Corral did not affect me whatsoever. Just a bunch of retards whining about a call and then throwing crap on the field and delaying the game 40 minutes. Uncalled for and more fuel for other schools to use against us in recruiting. Just embarrassing.

Let’s give everyone the same salary at their jobs while we are at it. No one should have more money than others.

So would you want same thing if UT were to be at the top of the mountain ?

Exactly. Many UT fans may not be aware that fans for other teams during the 90’s thought UT and FL got the calls.” There we’re exceptions (Memphis game) but we got our fair share back then.

Socialism doesn't work, and what you're suggesting is socialism at its worst. "Let's make everybody even so everyone has a chance". You wanna be the man? You gotta beat the man. Not have somebody hand it to you.
This is the most accurate post I have seen in a while. Thanks for posting

Last nights fiasco will further render the Vols irrelevant.

Being irrelevant for a decade is one of the primary pieces of energy driving behaviors like last night. Not condoning it not agreeing with it, just pointing out people are very frustrated with the status quo. The status quo appeared to be in operation last night, the zebras appeared to be determined the ranked SEC team was going to win.
