I have a couple of questions.

Yes. And I was not revisiting the argument about charging students. I just needed a reason for why they now have seemingly unlimited resources to hire all of these coaches after they were struggling so much before our crapfest of a season. It surely wasn't ticket revenue.

Understandable.

The AD never was in "trouble.".

The ESPN deal is extra bank, and charging students and cutting out the hot dogs for ushers are just reactions to the market.

If they are now paying the HC and DC the same amount that they were paying the previous HC, why does it not add up? Yes they added to the Asst coaches salaries pool, so there will be a overall increase. But doesn't that happen each time a change is made? Why get rid of Fulmer, or keep him, for simple economics WHEN the bottom line is not being met. They were not winning, Keeping Clawson another year didn't give any of us much hope. Fulmer would not make a change and he would never hire someone who may take his job. A change HAD to be made.

I do agree with your argument. Students should not be charged, they are paying enough to be at UT. Usher's who volunteer their time ought to be fed at least. I do not have a answer. There is a number cruncher who decided if a change was made, not enough people would complain. That is the best I can do for you....
