I Hate Posting On Here, But.............

I see the same people posting what the record would be after 3 games now calling for a regemine change since they were right. I'm not drinking the orange kool-aid, but we kinda knew we might be in this position. Are we happy about it, of course not, but I think we should see where it goes from here. Guys, I saw us lose to Florida in the 90's quite a bit and now we do it here. Three years after our worse loss to Florida we won the N.C. I know it's a stretch but it gets annoying on this board pulling up the same thread no matter what forum you pick.

It gets annoying knowing that "wait till next year" doesn't really apply anymore for this program. It's not just Florida losses, it's the big picture.

I personally have not had anything negative to say about Coach Fulmer but I'm at the point now that even if we don't lose any more games, the two embarrassing defeats we suffered against Cal and now Florida kind of did it for me.I'm ready for new blood.Coach Fulmer should resign after this season. He should be given no more chances than Battle or Majors.

I don't post very often and I'm a man of few words(until now). As I read all these posts about firing Fulmer, problems with our team, who's the best candidate for our new coach, ad nauseum, blah, blah, blah,.......

All I know is that after following TN football for half a century(that's 50 years for the folks from Cocke, Claiborne and Roane counties) is that when it's time to play GA, AL,SC, and whoever the Vols are playing this year, at that point in time, I'm excited again. I've seen too much over the years not to be excited.

Tn Football is like life my young friends, it's a cycle, and the sooner you accept that fact, the sooner you can get on with your life. TN will be back, we always have and we always will. Those of you that don't believe that, don't know crap about TN football.

It's time for this cycle of mediocre at best, football to end.
