I'm really not one to feed the rumor mill and I apologize for the bashing.

It started with an innocuous comment about him becoming the OC at Auburn, to which you responded with a bunch of reasons he wouldn't.

We'll just agree to disagree.

I just wanted to know why one offense labeled "gimmicky" would be better than another labeled the same way. If they don't hire Franklin last year, I wouldn't dispute you one bit on your statement.

Which reminds me - a buddy of mine just confirmed that, after polishing off his 9th glass of bouron this morning, Johnny Majors went streaking down Cumberland Ave. singing "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead"

they found out that Franklin is a better book writer than coach. The same is not true of Malzahn and he runs a very different spread than that Franklin espouses.

Malzahn is a football coach, first and foremost, and his results on the field attest to that.

I agree 100% with this post. I would like to have Malzahn here in some capacity. He's got a football mind like Cut's, just more wide open so to speak.
