I feel indifferent, and that is a bad thing.

Normally a woodshed beating like this would bother me. However, today I feel indifferent, and now I know what it is like to be an Ole Miss, Ark., Vandy, South Carolina fan. It is bad when you start to look for moral victories. Let's face it Vol fans, we are in for a long season. By looking at this board, we are expecting a disappointing season. Welcome to the land of mediocrity when a big victory is a win over Ole Miss and Kentucky.

What hurts me is that we were just exposed for what we really are....mediocre, if that.

I can't believe I drank the Kool-Aid and was thinking, going into this game that we had a chance. I should KNOW better..

The past month has done nothing more than just prove, to even the most loyal Orange Kool-Aid drinkers, that Tennessee football is at a very bad spot. There isn't going to be a big turn around. There isn't going to be any BCS bowls, and until major changes are made, there will not be another Championship any time soon.

I've seen high school teams make less turnovers and with better special teams. Every year it's the same thing, why expect a different result?

We may not even score against Auburn, the way we've played this season. UAB doesn't count. Carson Newman and Maryville could beat UAB.

Heck those schools might give us a run for our money.

You??? I made a complete fool of myself this week trying the positive mentality approach and all it got me was a week with a Gator avatar.

The stadium was emptying during the 3rd quarter, and the commentators were even mentioning how none of the fans expected tennessee to win going in. Pretty much sums up the state of the program.

I feel the same way. I'm not even upset....which is upsetting.

I know how you feel. This game is on the weekend of my birthday every year and I've just come to realize this is the present that I get from the Gators.

I feel the same, just numb......dont even really care, which is so unlike me

I'm even more terrified over my joy in losing. And losing was a given against the gators - I bet money against my beloved Vols and gave up points! At this point, I truly question if we'll beat Wyoming. Certainly not any $EC team - we're just not capable of playing real $EC football at this point. This loss will be completely demoralizing and Fatboy is incapable of rebounding IMHO. Please prove me wrong but I'll say 3-8 for the season right now. Gawd I pray I'm wrong.

Dont worry we will win just enough unimportant games to keep Phil around. Hooray for mediocrity

We've accepted our role in the SEC.

UF just beat and embarrassed us again and the VN server isn't even "too busy."

Acceptance, it's a helluva drug.
