Unless, this guy had a terrible QB coach, offensive coordinator, and team. We don't want this guy! I hope Kiffin has a stud QB in his pocket. We need to recruit one or two this year.
Bryce Petty's stats:
2007 (Jr.) 73 101 5 279 164 58.8 2,042 16 8
2008 (Sr.) 100 166 5 222 134 60.4 1,507 4 8

How great was Rick Clausen? Didn't he steer a team to Atlanta and win a bowl game? Not many teams are sitting 3 deep at QB with future pros.emainvol, You are a smart A idiot. No one said anything about not having depth. If, you are going to be an elite team in the SEC. You better have GREAT depth. Petty doesn't seem to fit the bill, does he?

Hatvol,
If, Rick was good enough for you. Then, maybe you need to find another team. Rick threw 8 TDs in his college career.
It is time to expect better recruits. It is time to expect better coaching. If, we want to beat Alabama, Florida, and Georgia on a consistent basis.
QBs like Petty aren't going to get it done. UGA has verbals from two far better QBs. Surely, we should expect to land atleast one four star QB.
I know Clawson and Fulmer didn't develop Stephens, Crompton, or Coleman. But, I don't think we are even two deep right now. IMO, Coleman is the only one with the tools to run Kiffin's system. I don't see Petty being able to do it.
