mainly because I don't think our Off/Def lines are good enough yet, no Justin Hunter, and UGA's team has talent just not very good coaching.

Hopefully I'm wrong and will gladly gulp down massive quantities of crow like gibbs gulps the Fulmer-aide come Saturday night though.

You should read my posts. That way you would know the fire storm of hate you are about to get.

A friend who is a Ga fan told me yesterday at a local sports bar that Ga has been "holding a bunch of stuff back" on offense and will "let it all out" against UT. Funny stuff.

Wow . . . There's just not much you can say back to that kind of delusion.

Hey, keep your feelings to yourself! This is a Volunteer Football forum for fans. It is NOT cosmo or oprah...

Maybe you, fade route, and unfrozen caveman can get together at starbucks later and share all your negative feelings over a latte

1st paragraph is sarcasm
2nd maybe not, they could use your help jk

The Buffalo QB's long run on us worries me. Aaron Murrey is a good runner and their secondary is good. Just hope Bray is hot and our defense plays well. Plus, we just get a draw in the kicking game. Go Vols!

I have a lot better feeling about this Georgia game then I did last year. I actually have a great feeling about all of our games. With Bray back there we are always in the games.

When it comes to picking these big conference games, I learned my lesson with the Florida game. Although I still think with Hunter we win that game but that's another story. Until we win big games on a regular basis, I'll leave the predictions to everyone else.

There were missed assignments all over the place on that play. I'm not to concerned about Murrays legs as I am his arm.

Yeah I think their strategy was to start 0-2 and just limp along until they can show the world their entire playbook vs UT. I can understand that logic.

Here's a serious question: are Georgia fans looking at this as a really big game?

They have 7 games left, of which it could be easy for them to view this as only the 4th hardest.

Man oh man, I hope we catch them coasting. I think we could beat them regardless, but my favorite is when Georgia comes in favored and we give them a proper thumping.

something similar could be said for UT since we follow UGA with games against #1 and #2

That is hilarious :eek:lol: Tell him i'm sure the UGA fans appreciate them going vanilla against Boise St and USCe just to unleash against UT.

Sure, but I get the feeling that our coaches, team and fans really want this win and still feel positive about our season.

Living in Atlanta, I'm hearing a lot of despair from the UGA faithful, mixed with an odd amount of hype about their talent. It's very confused.

We seem to be a program on the rise, albeit in the early stages, and there is some excitement with that. They're clearly creeping up to the end of an era, and it seems their mindset is a little bit ho-hum about individual games. It's understandable. They have to spend time and energy thinking about the big picture. Who are we going to find to replace Richt? That sort of thing. So, I wonder if they really care about this game. Would a W mean as much to them as it does us? I don't really think so.

The closer it gets, the more nervous I am. Unlike last year or the year before. Not sure why.

I feel pretty confident about this game and I have no earthly idea why. This coming from a person who was pre-ulcerous leading to the Cincinatti game.

I have no idea how this game is going to end up. i'm afraid the running game will get stuffed and it could up another florida type game.

I just wish we had a better running game. If we rush for over 100 yards I think we win. Everybody needs to run hard who gets in the backfield, and give some punishment out to the defenders.

What worries me is that even if we do get some kind of lead late in the game we have to run the ball in order to run time off the clock and so far we haven't shown we can do that and UGA's DL is much better than our OL right now.
