So we had 4 sure thing TDs that didn't come to fruition due to penalties on the 1st & goal from the 3, that ended up 40 yards back, one TD return on the missed field goal with a stupid block in the back, one over throw to a wide open WR & a bad call on 4th & inches ?
Correct?

Yeah but 2 or 3 of those I believe were on the same drive so it's not like that was 28 points missed on different drives. However, if he could hit his receivers we probably would have thrown long more often. They guys were pretty much running wide open. If we had Pitt's QB and they had our 2 the score would have been the other way around.

No, there were 2 walk-in TD overthrows by Milton. Also there was one deep pass that was on target that hit Hyatt in the hands and he dropped it although he did have a DB there. He was in position though.

Should have been up 28-0 at the beginning of the second quarter. But you know, Joe Milton.

Being up 28-0 at the beginning of the 2nd quarter would have been impressive considering we only touched the ball 3 times in the first quarter. How do you suppose we would have scored 3 different 9.333 point TDs in that quarter?

Defense played a great first quarter. Milton moved the ball but missed some early deep shots, probably 2 or 3 that were really awful. Easily left 7-10 points out there. Offensive line continues to play ok for large stretches but terrible at the worst times and cost us several drives/points (the most egregious being the 1st and goal at the 5 that led to a 40yrd FG.). Very undisciplined from Banks. Defense played atrocious in the 2nd which coincided with Milton being injured and Hooker struggling to find his early footing. Heupel made great adjustments to find what worked for Hooker, kept us in the game. There was a terrible call on the FG return TD. Had 2 drives late to tie, horrendous officiating led to a bad spot on 3rd down during penultimate drive. Subsequent 4th and 1 was a terrible play call with a run up the middle out of shotgun. Last drive ended with a bad INT by Hooker.

So to sum. Defense struggled. Undisciplined from OL. Milton missed a few shots which would have REALLY helped but led scoring drives on 3 of his 4 series'. Heupel found a way to work with Hooker's strengths. We came up just short.

We played great and terrible at the same time. The crowd was great and terrible at the same time. I’m too drunk to give a good account. I’m still upset and that’s probably contributed to Monday night drinking

2 overthrows. 14 points. Drop by Hyatt...7 points. Block in the back negating kick 6...7 points. 1st and goal after Milton's run(he should have scored) backed up by penalties. Field goal. Left 4 points. Hooker should kept on 4 and inches and walked in ...7 points. Is that correct?

Hyatt has dropped at least 3 td passes in 2 games. Need to start utilizing Galloway as the go-to receiver. He can make a 20 yd pass look like a bomb.

Other than this and a few other calls made, to me it was the missed calls against Pitt that hurt the most.
