I want to. I would love to. I need to. But I can't quit you, UT. You've taken years off my life and added undue stress. You've proven time and again that you care little.

There were good times. But the bad has clearly smothered out the good. It's like groundhog day. I wake up thinking today is different, but it's not.

UT is not big time any longer. Years of underfunding proven coaches and over valuing "magic dust" and "processes" have left us disgruntled.

I hate the sunshine pumpers that will make excuses for every loss, and they hate the Nega Nation that call out every shortcoming.

But dammit, we all love UT. We'll all find a reason to let them back into our hearts and minds. I'd love to be able to wash my hands of this mess, but I just can't.

Here's hoping that today brings about change. Not sure I believe in one single person on the staff any longer. But when the Orange and White take the field again, I'll forget the pain and cheer them on because that's what Volunteers do..

Gbfo.

Nobody is going to stop pulling for the team, but I do not believe anyone wants to hear more of Butch Jones coach speak!!

If he talks about the process today and starts mentioning our young team then I will throw up. Time to look in the mirror Butch and quit being stubborn. Your offense is not going to work in the SEC

Exactly. Tired of coach speak. I want to see CBJ pissed and I want him apologizing to everybody. I also want to hear him berating Bajakian for one of the worst called games I have seen in a long time.

But I won't hear any of that.

Good post, OP.

My dad played for UT. He took me to games throughout my childhood. There are many great memories and I should feel grateful for them.

On the other hand, for the past decade of watching overpaid morons run this program into the ground, it's seemed like a curse. My own alma mater has won national championships and still, all I seem to care about is Tennessee. And I have to accept that will probably never change. Part of me will probably always care about them and root for them, no matter how much the rest of me knows that it's hopeless.

I would tell Worley if you don't run the ball at least three times against bama your riding pine. He has the green light any time he wants.

The play calling didn't give us much of a chance, the OL does not get it done. The defense played winning football, the QB and receivers didn't get any support from the OL and were mauled because of their poor play. But I remember that this is where a lot of fans feared we would be. We are still on the way back, I am confident

There's an awful lot of "I'm done", and "I hate this team" around here for nobody to be quitting.
