Correct me if I'm wrong. can't wait for the season to get underway. looking forward to seeing what hopson can do, as well as the other young players. anyone watch pearls press conference from media day? thoughts? GO VOLS! :rock:

at least the bball team will make us all proud and happy again !!
i love watching there games on ESPN.. it seems like we always win in the big games being televised and Pearl really stands out ! :)

man they are getting a late start. practice officially starts on oct 15th some coaches don't usually start that day, but most do. we always had practice at midnight. so the very first minute of oct 15th we were on the floor. then we wld come back that nite, usually around 8 or so. it sucked, i hated practice the first wk or 2, blah

I just watched the 10/14 press conference with Bruce. Apparently Don DeVoe was in attendance. If you're excited about hoops, it's worth a watch. I learned a lot that I didn't know before. Link below. I'm sure it's been posted before, but there it is...

DeVoe was actually mentioned to be interested in joining Buzz's staff when he was coach....I always liked DeVoe, He never had a losing record at UT.

Yeah, when the students took up the chant "Go Johnny, go - and take Don DeVoe" it was a bit undeserved.
