EDIT: Probably an overreaction post and my apologies but there has been frustration a times throughout this year. Guess we need to trust the system that got us to 8-1.

Frankly, it hasn't been good all year long. Sure our players make mistakes but I feel like the play calling is the main thing holding back our offense.

I love Heupel and program direction, I don't want to rock boat too much but definitely bring in a new play caller. Heck, I would be ok keeping the OC and bringing in a co-OC or advisor to help play calling.

I think the problem is Halzle doesn't feed Heupel everything he sees from the box.
Golesh did a much better job of that and it shows.
Lot different calling a game from the box versus the sideline.

Yeah, HCs calling plays typically doesn't work, even if the HC is a good play caller. Maybe turn the duties over to Halzle, do something.
