It makes me so mad how the Virginia and Ohio st players completely disrespected our team....

Let's start with Virginia:

Reynolds says that our 121 points against LBSU doesn't mean much for the UT-UVA game....

Ohio st guards said that they were 10 times better than they were when they played us the first time around....

Now, after the the game..."Their body language was like they already had the game won," said Ron Lewis, OSU's senior guard.

i have never heard a tenn player make arrogant comments thoughout the season...

it really pisses me off that these players don't give tenn any respect

well reynolds can't say anything bc he was watching the sweet sixteen on his butt up in charlottesville.

i dont really like ron lewis or mike conley jr. but i have to say both carried tosu last nite. we just couldnt stop conley's dribble penitration.

i hate to say it but tosu looks like the team that could cut down the nets, although if they run into a team that can shoot the lights our for 40 min and stops conley/oden it could be the end.

OSU guards are a little better BUT our guys play with chemistry and play within the offense. Lofton and JuJaun can out shoot any guard on OSU. Childress can out shoot most of them.

We live in a day and age where disrespect and mouthy individuals are more common than snow in Alaska. It's better to walk than to talk. That being said, they are still playing and we are wondering what happened to our 20 point lead?:cray:

i understand that they are BETTER than us...BUT there is no reason for these kinds of comments...when players speak to the press, the right thing to do is talk about the good things about the other team and stay humble

Everyone disrespects Tennessee, not only in hoops, but football also. They never will get the respect they deserve in either sport. I cannot believe Ohio State was 20 for 29 from the foul line in the second half. I find it hard to believe Tennessee fouled them that many times. I don't think so. I am still fuming over that loss last night. I live here in Memphis, TN and the University of Memphis is a #2 seed and they play Ohio State tomorrow afternoon around 3:40 CST. They are 33-3 like Ohio State and have some very good sharp shooters and some big guys as big as Oden. Joey Dorsey being one of them. Cheer for the Memphis Tigers tomorrow guys to knock out Ohio State. I do not cheer for them as a rule, especially when it comes to playing Tennessee, but Tennessee beat them by 18 back in December. Memphis hasn't lost since then. Have won something like 24 or 25 games straight.

Do you really think that 121 on LBSU was a THAT big a deal?

Clearly both teams were much better this time around than the first.

They did come out an play with a look of certain victory and that must have set OSU off in the second half.

Don't be such a homer.

I have said this before this season and I will say it again ...until this tournament what has TN BB done to deserve automatic repect? I see your point and i hear what you are saying; but you have to earn that type of respect and getting in the tourney and getting past LBSU & UVA isn't an automatic repect winner.
