I been a Tennessee fan since 1977. The first TV game I watched was Auburn 1977. My parents were fans and alumni as was I. My grandparents were fans even though they didnt go to school there. I've seen some losing in my time. '05,'08, '77 ,'78 1980 I was a student during the 1988 meltdown. I went to the games during the championship years. I've seen the highs and lows. This is the worst I've ever seen. Think about it we lost to a WR at QB with 3 days of preparation. By the way when you guys are sitting in the rain next year watching Dooley' s team lose you can feel good you wanted to keep a WAC coach with a losing record.

News Flash, genius ... Last time I checked the UT team on the field is OUR team, not "Dooley's" team. You need to come back from the cliff ... or better yet, go ahead and jump.

Does "as was I" mean you have taken the first step and disavowed your status as an alumnus. Seems my UT diploma granted me that status for life (or at least the ones they gave us way back in the day did).

Just so you all know my husband is the one who started this thread.Let me tell you a couple of things.First our children are grown and fine.We have plenty of money and spend a great deal on going to the games.We spend a great deal on memoribilia.Second he is one of the biggest UT fans out there.I am so so on the vols.I support them win lose or draw.My favorite is Wisconsin Badgers and the Packers.I've been telling him all year to give Dooley a chance.I just want everyone to stop and think with their brains for a second.I see a Coach in over his head.He does'nt know how to motivate his players.He makes excuse after excuse.How do you think the players feel when their on coach says they are'nt good.I stood by my teams no matter how bad or mad i got.No matter how much hell i get from anyone here.I watch the games we watch alot of different teams,basicaly every game that is on during football season.I see Dooley never really into the game.Putting his shortcomings on the players.When does he take the blame for not being a good coach.How do you except them to play for a coach that has no faith in his own players? Just saying.

the jokes on UT. you say that but the stadium had plenty of empty seats for most of the games this season. it adds up homers.

Funny thing is, we still sold more tickets than 95 pct of all of schools. That is pretty good for a school with so many "fans" who hate the program.
