They don’t fit in with the rest of the conference at all. I don’t mind having 14 teams, and A&M was a nice addition, but Missouri doesn’t add much of anything. It’s a pro sports state with a culture that just doesn’t mesh with the rest of the league.
VA Tech would have been a much better selection as their footprint stretches across central VA to the fertile tidewater region and up towards DC. I can’t stand the Hokies, so I’m kind of glad that didn’t pan out.

I think Arkansas fits good, Missouri not so much. I wish we would have gone after Clemson or North Carolina instead of Mizz.

I’m 100% against FSU joining the SEC. They had their chance and they chose the easy way out with the ACC instead. Let them wallow in their mediocrity.

They are a bad fit. They add nothing but an even number of teams. I think West Virginia would have been better... and they wanted in.

I agree...but can we get a favorable winning percentage against them and THEN kick their "safespaces" to the curb?

I used to love the Big 12. It was one of the strongest conferences in the 1990s

Really wish Nebraska and Mizzou went back. Bring Maryland into the SEC

UNC and Duke have to be in the same conference. So does Miami and FSU. Georgia tech is the mizzo of the ACC. The Virginia schools could work though.

Tbh honest I wouldn't have minded a 16-team SEC, but not one that included Missouri. Oklahoma, Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Texas A&M.
