But if it had to be between Doeren and Kiffin then I am now a Kiffin supporter.

Would rather throw $7 mil at Leach or $4 at Miles but I’ll do anything to take Doeren. I just want to calmly read about UT every night for once.

Throw this at Kiffin. Has to big of an ego to say no:

Contract is 6 years,10 million dollar buyout that drops to 7.5 million after year 4, not eligible for any extension until after year 4, make his base salary around 3 million and put crazy incentives in there like the following:

$500K for SEC East Title
$1M for SEC Title
$750K for Playoff Appearance
$1M for Natty Appearance
$2M for Natty

$100K for top 15 Recruiting class
$250K for top 10 Recruiting class
$350K for top 5 Recruiting class

At minimum if we make playoff, that means we pay between 5.3-5.6 million to do so in one year. That, my friends, is a heck of a deal.

There better be language in the contract that deducts money from his contract for his recruits not being admitted into UT because of academics, and language should be in the contract that deducts from his salary for every recruit kicked off the team with the first year of their admittance.

Kiffen's only UT recruiting class was a failure.

If we hire him we would definitely have to protect ourselves in the language.

Leach would come for $4M.

Our protection is the 10 million dollar buyout that he pays if he walks in the first 4 years.

That's not enough protection. There MUST be language in the contract that also deducts from his salary for Recruiting Violations, and being put on Probation.
