Hyams reports UT interviewed Leach yesterday in Dallas

If this was true, wouldn't this be like the first "scoop" ever by Hyams? I doubt the validity, though.

Please don't hire Leach. Oklahoma showed the world what Florida, Georgia and Alabama would do to that offense every year.

The leak they recieved is correct. But there was just one small mistake in the information. Leach was actually interviewed by UT-Chattanooga yesterday in Dallas.

I think a halfway decent UTK offense would keep those teams from scoring 60+ ppg. If Leach brings in a decent DC then I think he'd be fine. If nothing else, the Vols would be fun to watch which is a heck of alot mroe than I can say for the recent product.

Stay away from Leach.

I wish they would go ahead and announce that Lane Kiffin will be the new HFC>

Bring a good DC with him and Leach would flourish in the SEC...OU was a team possessed and they just played like they wanted it more...Clearly a case of better athletes...Told you, It's hard to recruit big time players to Lubbock Texas....But not to Knoxville...It would be much different here.

Was it 'fun to watch' the Texas Tech game last night? Well that is what UT games against Florida, Alabama, Georgia would look like under Leach.

Leach--gimmick passing offense, no real running game, no defense. He'll get eaten alive in the SEC with all these big fast athletes.

Isn't the Urban Meyer offense not a gimmick offense? He has the right players to run it....for now

Gimmick this, gimmick that. Spreak this, spread that. Its about having talent and getting that talent to execute the system in place. Bottom line. Pure and simple.

Texas beat OU, TT beat Texas, OU beat TT, and each of those teams would give anyone in the SEC more than they want right now.

Clearly a case of better athletes? That's it?

Texas Tech was effing castrated out there on Saturday night...not only did Oklahoma have better athletes, they were better in every facet of the game...their planning, their execution, their composure, their physicality. Bob Stoops exposed Mike Leach and his program for exactly what it is - all hype, little substance. And that's exactly what Urban Meyer and Nick Saban would do to him on a regular basis if he were in Knoxville.

Does not explain how TT beat the only team to beat OU. They played three top 10 teams in a row and won two of them. Fulmer likely would've been 0-3, 1-2 at best. I'd consider Leach a huge upgrade from what we have now.
