Jalen has clearly shown us he isn't afraid to pull himself out of a game
If half the crap Jalen's dad says were true, why wouldn't he simply pull himself out?
Its pretty dad gum clear that his family would be all in his ear telling him to quit

The video has been taken down. Lol guessing he bit off more than he could chew with it. Especially considering some of the fabrications in it (i.e. 4-8 team & such)

In an audio interview with “The Ultimate SEC Show” after he posted the Facebook Live video, Smotherman contradicted his video statement saying Hurd told the coaches he had a “headache.”

“I don’t think he had an official concussion until Sunday when they ran tests on him and that’s probably why they didn’t take his helmet away because a headache and a concussion are two different things,” Smotherman said.

...“They never promised us that they would change their system. They just said they were going to do some stuff for Jalen to help him showcase who he is and I believe that Jalen considered the I-formation as one of those things. It never happened. I never said anything toward the university. Me and my wife don’t have any desire to go against the university."

Well, it looks horrible, I agree, BUT the rumor is that Hurd wants to move to the West coast, which is where his dad lives. Maybe he wants to get away from his mom, and maybe this would shed some light on it.

This is an angle I've not seen contemplated yet, but you could be right.

I'm so shocked by this. I took everything they said as gold.

Everything that has come out from the facebook video in the car, to the things that have come out about his mom (I don't know the circumstances) , it comes across as a terrible recipe for people steering you in the wrong direction. It's reeks of immaturity and desperation to save face. One thing's for sure, Hurd definitely doesn't have an agent or he/she might've already dropped him after this week's bull****. I can't wait to see the spin job before the draft or "fresh start" that's going to take place. Maybe a Lunardi piece where Hurd talks about finding the right group of guys, position, and coach. What a load of ****.
