Is there a player that lays it all on the line more than this guy? He gets hit in the backfield 50% of the time he touches the ball and still gets positive yardage. He runs harder than any RB I can remember. With a decent offensive line he is an All American RB. He is a beast and I wouldn't trade him for any RB in the country.

The run where he eluded 3 tacklers and drilled the CB that finally tackled him was EPIC!!! :good!:

Punishing back that gets big yards after contact. Best back we have had in a long time. Coupled with Kamara best back tandem in a much longer time. They complement each other well and they are both big backs too.

I love him (little bit of homo, not a lot though) he is a monster and still got two years left

that one hit on that D-Back in the beginning of the game after he eluded several tackles was NASTY! anybody got a gif of that?

His ability to break tackles might be the best I've ever seen at UT. Travis Henry was amazing at breaking tackles, but of course he had the best O-line in UT history.

We have had many amazing running backs over the years. Many that have gone on to the NFL to become stars. But all of them had great offensive lines at Tennessee. What Jalen Hurd is doing with an average OL is amazing. Hard nosed. Doesn't go down without a fight. Big fight. 1st round talent.

If Hurd had that O-Line he would be getting 150-175 yards a game. I think next year our O line will be much better and Hurd will finally get to show what he can do with some blocking.

Jones said it best at the end of the game. He said, "They weren't going to be denied". That applies to the team - but most especially to Hurd and Dobbs. They played like they were ticked off and I, for one, am happy about it.
