Hurd transfer... USCjr loss... Time to recover

Alright guys I've been pissed pretty much the last 5 days or more about the loss, and the Hurd transfer. I have pondered on how this will affect our team now. I have come to the conclusion that Hurd was part(probably just about 15-20% of the problem) of the problem, and that this may help to galvanize this team. JK has proven he's a pretty solid RB, and we still have a very talented team(a lot more talented than a 5-3 team). With that being said my belief was that this team would make the SEC championship game. Winning out isn't as easy now,but I still believe we should which would make us 9-3. The SEC champ. is still attainable and here is why: Florida @ Arkansas line is close to a pick em and I believe Arky has the edge here is why: 1. Florida offense is struggling 2. Arkansas has had a bye week to get motivated and prepare
3. Beliema has a coaching edge over beaver teeth in my opinion
South Carolina is next... No analysis needed for this game Florida should roll.
Now the game I see Florida getting blasted in is LSU. They have an edge in all categories IMO. They will lose that game 31-14.

Now if we win out LIKE WE SHOULD. Then that would put us at 9-3(5-3) tied with Florida and winning the east. It's not how I envisioned it happening, but hey if you make it to a championship you have had to somewhat earn it. Here's hoping it happens, and hoping we get some of our swagger back. Go Vols!!! VFL no matter what!

Hurd's attitude won't cut it in the NFL, see Randy Moss, Terrell Owns, Chad Johnson. All were frequently traded until not tolerated. Wish Jalen every success , he has time to change.

Hurd is not in the same universe as TO or Chad Johnson athletically. All the guys you mention had a TON more ability than Hurd does. And if Hurd wants to play TE, then even less teams will ever be interested in him.

All those guys had productive careers. Moss and Owens are HOFs and Johnson was the best wideout for a short period of time. I'd take their stats from the NFL over a lot of other players. They weren't great character guys but they produced. I'm sure Jalen would love to have stats comparable to theirs.

So sick and tired of that line of thinking. We beat them on the field. Then 2 of the top 4 teams in the nation beat us, and somehow WE'RE backing into it if fla loses.

Scheduling. Our hard ones are past (and one easy one - dang you SC). Fla's day is coming. Or they'll win them and earn the trip, but we are not backing into it.

Absolutely right, none of those three divas had any sort of career in the NFL.

If you have someone whining and stomping there feet talking crap about certain players or coaches and thinking it was all about them like we have Hurd I would think 50% of the problem was him.

They all made lots of $$$$. Hurd will too. Family members will get that pony they always wanted on Christmas. :crazy:

And Hurd is not the talent that any of those you mentioned. If they were not tolerated then Jalen had better get a clue. I hope he gets it together and doesn't implode.

ummm...they will all (maybe not 85) end up in the Hall of Fame...so, yes, they did not make it.

Op- you might want to check the FLA vs UGA box score. UGA had 19 rushes for 21 yards! Now how do you think Arky has an edge vs FLA? C'mon man.
